We know that any contractor is only as strong as our team in the field. Allied Electric, Inc. has been blessed with a team of highly-skilled and committed professionals. They’ve been with us for years, and we’ll continue to work together to serve our customers.
Three of our employees have been with our team for over 18 years, 3 of our employees have been members of our team for over 15 years, and 7 of our employees have worked with Allied Electric for over 5 years.

History

In 1970, Allied Electric, Inc. began as a small family-owned and operated company, serving the local community with commercial electric needs. Ralph Hanback started the company and used a small house on Hundley Drive as an office. By 1973 the business expanded to fill its current location on Commercial Drive in Huntsville.

Allied Eletric, Inc. has always been a family business. Ralph’s wife Addye has been involved in the company since its beginning serving as a bookkeeper, secretary and part owner. Ralph’s two sons, Johnny and Barry Hanback, grew up with the business and have only ever worked for Allied Electric. After Ralph’s death in 1991, Addye, Johnny and Barry continued to direct Allied Electric, Inc.’s growth. Johnny now serves as president, Barry as Vice-President and Addye as Secretary-Treasurer. They remain committed to carrying on Ralph’s 40-year legacy of honesty, integrity and workmanship. Allied Electric, Inc. continues to treat customers like family today.

Now, more than forty year’s after Allied Electric’s inception, North Alabama’s power needs are growing and changing. We’re growing and changing too, and we’re still a part of your family.
